I am not a personal stylist or image consultant

It was my business birthday at the weekend – 10 whole years since I became fully self-employed! I’ve been reflecting on how things have changed in that time. How I’ve changed and how my business has changed.

Personally I’ve grown. A lot. I’ve invested heavily in me, both time and money. I’ve had various coaches and mentors over the years, all of which have helped me achieve or work through specific goals. As a self-confessed lifelong learner I’ve also studied a wide range of personal and professional development courses.
I’ve explored and experimented with lots of different ways to serve my clients and wider audience – workshops, presentations, online courses, group and one to one coaching. I’ve branched out into other areas with spin off projects of things that interest me too. I’ve defined and refined what makes my heart sing over the years and dropped the stuff that doesn’t bring me joy.

I’m not a personal stylist or an image consultant, my work is so much deeper than that. There isn’t a name for what I do or how I do it. People have always talked about being Lisa’d though. So from now on I’m calling my work The L.I.S.A Method. It still incorporates the 4 pillars of my Project FAB framework and includes the essential dressing for joy but is expanded to include the depth and mindset shifts that are woven into everything I do with clients who benefit from the being Lisa’d transformation.

It’s for you if any of what I’ve written below resonates.

You’d love:
• To reconnect with and amplify your identity, stepping into this next phase with a renewed sense of purpose, joy, and boldness.
• To create a wardrobe that reflects your identity, confidence, and individuality while being practical and versatile.
• To approach challenges with a sense of ease and alignment, knowing your style and presence support you.
• To feel visible, impactful, and unapologetically yourself in every space you enter.

Reconnect With Your Identity

How The L.I.S.A Method Helps:

The Bridge: The L.I.S.A Method reconnects you with your identity and amplifies it through personal style. It’s about helping you align who you are inside with how you show up in the world. It takes you from being just nicely dressed to fully self-expressed.

The Outcome: You creates a wardrobe that feels effortless, joyful, and unapologetically you. You show up with confidence, approach life with boldness, and feel ready to make your next chapter the most exciting yet.

The Process:

o Liberate, Love Yourself & Level Up : You’ll let go of self-doubt, outdated wardrobe habits, clothes and thoughts that no longer serve you.
o Investigate Your Individuality & Identity: Dive into your individuality, rediscover your essence, and build a style that reflects your identity and uniqueness.
o Style With Soul & Science : Guides you to step into visibility and confidence with a wardrobe and attitude that supports your goals and aspirations.
o Align, Amplify & Activate: Align your attitude, wardrobe and essence to create a personal style that feels impactful, so you feel ready to amplify and activate this up levelled version of you.

Who’s it for?

You’re late 40s to mid-60s, part of the sandwich generation, juggling caregiving for ageing parents and supporting adult children too. You’re probably running some kind of second-career passion project business or consultancy.

You’re confident, creative, and ambitious but feel like your style and visibility don’t fully reflect the bold, accomplished individual you know you are.
Your wardrobe feels disconnected from your identity it’s a mish mash of outdated stuff you wore when you had a ‘proper job’, safe choices, and items that are just ok and don’t spark joy.

You’re possibly nostalgic for the fearless, expressive woman you used to be and want to reclaim that spark while elevating it for this next chapter of your life.
You’re navigating the realities of getting older—aches, pains, brain fog, and fluctuating confidence which all together leaves you feeling like you’re just “managing” at times rather than thriving.

You might even be balancing the needs of others and often putting yourself last. This leads to you feeling invisible and unappreciated sometimes.
Despite your confidence in your expertise, you occasionally grapple with imposter syndrome and a fear of being judged when stepping into the spotlight.

There are possibly some deeply personal, unspoken thoughts that reflect your vulnerabilities and aspirations.

Your Internal Dialogue

You are in no way defined by theses doubts, but you might secretly be thinking or feeling them, you might not admit them to anyone, but they do feel incredibly real…

Your inner voice sometimes (even though it might only be a whisper) says things like:

“I miss the woman I used to be.”
You remember your younger self—bolder, edgier, unapologetically visible. "What happened to her? Where did that fearless version of me go?"
You worry that you’ve lost some of your spark and aren’t sure how to get it back.

“Am I too old for this?”
Despite your confidence and accomplishments, you sometimes hesitates when you see something vibrant or daring, you’d love to wear.
"I want to stand out, but what if people think I’m trying too hard? What if they think I’m ridiculous?" You wish you could silence those doubts and fully embrace your creativity again.

“I feel invisible.”
Even with all your achievements, you sometimes feels like midlife has pushed you into the background. Whether it’s at family gatherings or professional events, you catch yourself thinking, “Does anyone even notice me anymore? Have I faded into being just… there?" You crave being seen and valued for who you truly are.

“Am I running out of time?”
You know this time of life is full of possibility, but you can’t help wondering, "Have I missed my chance to be who I really want to be? Is it too late to start over or stand out?" It’s not that you doubt your ability—it’s that the fear of time slipping away weighs on you.

The Sandwich Generation Juggle

“I’m tired of being everything to everyone.”
You are probably juggling a lot—family, work, your own needs. Deep down, you sometimes resent how much of yourself you’re giving away, thinking, “When is it my turn? When do I get to be the priority?" You rarely voice these thoughts, fearing they’ll come across as selfish.

“What if I’m not as good as I think I am?”
Even though you’re accomplished, there’s a small part of you, on the odd day, that sometimes worries about being “found out. ”Am I really the expert people think I am? What if I step into the spotlight and someone calls me out?" This occasional imposter syndrome is enough to keep you from fully owning your brilliance.

“I wish someone would just take care of me for a change.”
You’re always the one solving problems, managing schedules, and making sure everyone else is okay. "I’m strong, but sometimes I wish someone would step in and make me feel supported and cared for—just for a moment."

“I want to be remembered for more than this.”
You’re proud of your family and career, but you quietly dream of creating a legacy. "When I’m gone, I don’t want people to just remember me as a caregiver or someone who worked hard. I want them to see me as someone who was bold, inspiring, and unapologetically herself."

“I know there’s more out there for me.”
Even on your best days, you feel like you still haven’t reached your full potential. "I’ve done so much, but I know there’s still more. I want to show the world what I’m truly capable of—but sometimes I wonder if I have the energy to chase it."

“I wish I could stop caring what people think.”
You long to live more freely, without worrying about judgement or approval. "Why do I let other people’s opinions hold me back? I know I should just be myself, but sometimes it’s so hard."
Align Your Identity and Personal Style
You feel like you’re standing on a bridge between who you were and who you’re becoming. Navigating a mix of pride, longing, and occasional self-doubt as you balance your responsibilities and personal aspirations. You’re so proud of your achievements but you still crave a transformation that matches your inner growth.
It would be like the icing on the cake with the cherry on top.

The L.I.S.A Method empowers next-chapter individuals to align identity and style, amplifying confidence, visibility, and unapologetic authenticity. Let me help you transform from just nicely dressed to fully self-expressed.
